About the course
As part of Club Thrive, we are offering 6 individuals the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills by participating in the fully funded Principles of Winemaking Course.
This one-week intensive course aims to provide participants with a good level of knowledge and understanding of winemaking (oenology). It is for those who wish to start making wine, work in a winery, enter the wine trade, or further develop their expertise in the world of wine.
This course is funded by the Gerard Basset Foundation and supported by education provider Plumpton College.
The Inside Hospitality Report has revealed disparities, with ethnically diverse respondents being less likely to access professional development opportunities compared to their white counterparts. This course aims to bridge the access gap while also supporting ethnically diverse professionals in the hospitality industry to thrive in their chosen career paths.
6 funded places are available on the five-day Principles of Winemaking Course. Successful applicants will also have travel expenses, accommodation, and meal costs covered. View more details about the course here, including timings and prerequisites.
