Funded Workshops Launched
The Savoy Education Trust Award Be Inclusive Hospitality funding for Professional Skills Development & Well-being workshops.
The Savoy Education Trust is an independent, grant-giving charitable trust. The trust whose main aim is to advance and develop education, training and qualifications within the hospitality industry. Be Inclusive Hospitality have been awarded grant funding to deliver a 12-month initiative. The initiative will support the Professional Development and Well-Being of the BIH community.
The first workshop will be held on the 16th August at 6pm, led by Mallika Basu. A different facilitator will lead each workshop each month until July 2022. The first six workshops are to be delivered digitally on zoom.
Workshop topics covered will include, Your Personal Brand, delivered by PR Consultant & Food Writer Mallika Basu, Finance Debunked, delivered by Hospitality Finance Director Alison Wong and Create Your Own Lane, delivered by Global Rum Ambassador Ian Burrell. Other confirmed facilitators include Food & Recipe Writer Melissa Thompson, Restauranter & Author Asma Khan and Natural Chef & Nutritionist Nena Foster. More facilitators will be announced early in 2022.
To be eligible to attend the workshops attendees must:
- Be a person of colour and have officially joined the Be Inclusive Hospitality community.
- Have joined our private Facebook group – workshop news will be released here first!
- Complete the event sign up form, the first workshop on Monday 16th August at 6pm is with Mallika Basu – Your Personal Brand on zoom. Spaces are limited to 25 attendees for each workshop, you can register here.
