Be Inclusive Hospitality to launch in Birmingham on Monday 24th April
Be Inclusive Hospitality will launch in Birmingham on Monday 24th April at The Grand Hotel. The launch event starting at 6:30pm will include a panel discussion, scholarship launch, and networking opportunities. The event aims to build upon the 450 strong community network of Black, Asian, and ethnic minority employees and founders in hospitality.
The panel discussion will include:
Paramjit Nagra – Co-founder of Crazy Gin
Vanessa Kelly – Managing Director of 2 Much Passion CIC
Adam Bateman – Culinary Director of the Grand Hotel Birmingham
Sonal Clare – Award-winning Wine Director at the Wilderness Restaurant
Since our inception in 2020 we have supported over 2,000 employees and 50 founders with mentorship, scholarships, and grant funding. We also have a growing corporate membership community and have delivered educational workshops for over 900 hospitality leaders on topics including culture, race equity and fostering inclusion.

The evening will also include giveaways and a reading from award-winning writer, performer and educator Casey Bailey.
Be Inclusive Hospitality was founded by Lorraine Copes due to lack of representation of Black, Asian and ethnic minorities within positions of influence on the supply chain. She felt compelled to take action to drive change.
“I am ecstatic to be launching Be Inclusive Hospitality in my hometown of Birmingham. As we approach our third year in business, my goal is to ensure that we increase social impact throughout the country, and it is crucial to have a physical presence throughout the UK. This Birmingham launch is the first step towards this.”
