In total, I have spent 10 years in the industry.

How did you get into Hospitality?
I sort of fell into it, working in events and hospitality had always been a side job for me throughout education. Although I say side job, I continued to work my way up and after university, it became my career!

What do you most enjoy about this industry?
My favourite part of the industry is the variety and the creativity that we find within our work, as well as the amazing people that we get to meet and serve.  It really is a real pleasure being able to give people a positive experience.

Tell us something we might not know about your field/sector?
Hospitality and catering in events is a huge part of our £70bn events industry yet it is not widely publicised.

The advice you would offer to your younger self when you first entered the industry?
Know your worth and don’t settle for less.

Three dinner guests - who would they be?
Jacinda Arden, Michelle Obama, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez - they may not be hospitality-related but they are strong, empowering women.

There are endless opportunities within the industry and with improvements being made in terms of wellbeing & diversity, the future is going to be bright, big and beautiful!
