Total number of years spent within Hospitality?
2 years

What do you most enjoy about this industry?
The people, the customers, especially when they come back with great feedback, having catered for baby showers, Christmas, or those special moments that people will never forget.  To receive feedback that the food was banging, makes it all worthwhile!

What does a typical day look like for you?
It really does vary, I wake up 5:30am, workout, then comes content creation for social media. My day is generally split 3 days of the week for content creation, and the back end of the business, and 4 days of actual event catering.

Tell us something we might not know about the sector?
The importance of understanding the numbers that allows your business to be sustainable and profitable. This along with food laws are really important, and a lot of time has to be spent on both.

What has been the single most important piece of advice given to you?
To learn to rest, and whilst you may want to ‘out work’ everyone, it really will catch up with you. If you do not rest, you will not have the energy and focus or clarity to actually achieve your goals.

Three dinner guests of your choice?
Myleik Teele, Karlene Roy and Beyonce

Last documentary watched and book read?
The last book was ‘Traction’ By Gino Wickman.

Finish the sentence, the future in hospitality is……
Still unwritten
