The Report: Key Themes

Our latest report builds on insights gathered from three years of Inside Hospitality Reports (2021–2023), supplemented by interviews and focus groups conducted in 2024. It incorporates over 4,000 perspectives from hospitality professionals and highlights the complex interplay between race/ethnicity, industry perceptions, education, income, job roles, and progression barriers.

Key findings include:

  • Persistent disparities in income and career advancement for ethnically diverse employees.
  • Challenges linked to representation in leadership roles.
  • Actionable strategies to dismantle barriers and improve outcomes for underrepresented groups.

The full report will be available for download on the Be Inclusive Hospitality website on the morning of the event.
