London Manya

London Manya is the first premium sparkling palm wine available on the market, a delicious alternative to champagne. The palm is sustainably sourced from Southern Nigerian forests, harvested by local Palm wine tappers in the same traditional method used over thousands of years. Cultures across West Africa, The Caribbean, South America and Southern Asia have all been consuming Palm Wine for millennia.

Pedro’s

Pedro’s premium ogogoro is a batch distilled, 100% organic palm spirit. Handcrafted in Nigeria’s riverine communities and refined in Lagos, Pedro’s is spearheading a new African narrative. Founded by Lola Pedro and Chibu Akukwe in 2018 after spending time in the Nigerian countryside, the company wants West Africans, particularly Nigerians, to change how they perceive the drink.

Value Africa

Value Africa is a new distributor supplying unique spirits which best express the diverse continent. From Pedro’s in Nigeria, a refined organic Palm Spirit, the world’s first Premium ogogoro. In nearby Ghana they found an Akpeteshie that infuses local fruit flavours with a Palm Spirit. In South Africa they met passionate farmers, who turned a hobby into a world class distillery.

Belu

Belu is a drinks business that puts people and the environment first- launched in 2007, their mission is to change the way the world sees water. In pursuit of this purpose, they invest profits into reducing carbon emissions, creating a circular economy and ending water poverty. So far they have given over £5 million to WaterAid for clean water, toilets and hygiene.

Wray & Nephew

Wray & Nephew has been Jamaica’s most loved rum for nearly 200 years; an intrinsic part of the country’s culture and present and almost every milestone in the lives of Jamaicans. Wray & Nephew became a part of the Campari Group in 2012 and has now helped new customers around the world enjoy the Jamaican favourite. All profits made from every bottle sold around the world is returned to the Jamaican business unit, as the famous rum is still made exclusively on the island.

Appleton Rum

Appleton Estate is the oldest and most famous of all of Jamaica’s sugar-cane estates. It makes rich rums with characteristic Christmas cake and butterscotch flavours and is known for its long-aged editions. Appleton estate is rooted in Jamaican tradition which not only refines their rum but defines who they are. The insignia made up of five iconic Jamaican emblems tells the unique story of passion, dedication and joy.


The wine tasting is suitable for curious beginners and enthusiasts, and there are prizes to be won on the night. Tickets are priced at £15+bf and are available to purchase on Eventbrite.
